News Room
Responding to Media Calls

At Northeast Behavioral Health, we respond to print, broadcast and online journalists' calls promptly so that you can make your deadline. While we are often restricted by federal HIPAA laws, we will make every effort to help you to tell your story and to put a human face on the issue.

We can be a resource for stories on mental health, teenage wellness (bullying, suicide, drug use, depression), family health, domestic abuse, rape counseling, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, alcoholism and related topics.

Usually, we have been able to set a reporter up with an expert interview within 24 hours (or less) of the initial call.  Across our agency, we have a range of expertise, including mental health professionals, substance abuse treatment experts, and school-based counselors.

Our programs serve towns and cities in Essex County, the Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston.

For press inquiries, call the Communications Department at 978-968-1736 or email us for more information.
